If we could have someone with a vision that can illustrate the merits of increasing the broadcasting rights to get the better quality of players across here and give the game a facelift marketing wise, there’s every possibility we can.

However, we need someone with a vision and expertise to do that.

It’s more like sky’s monopoly on sporting events is dying BT have the better football games now sky are showing more championship games now they’ve lost the La Liga games after 20 years to the owner of Leeds Utds company no champions league the way we watch things now has totally changed everyone thinks if sky don’t want us nobody will when in effect sky pay peanuts for RL rights

Well the rumour is that the clubs have rejected the proposal and I think the reason is likely to be the answer to a question that doesn't seem to have been asked - If the end of season Super 8's competitions are being removed, what is coming in to replace them with regards to P&R as it relates to Super League.

It's all well and good to increase the number of clubs in the Championship, but if that leads to a dead end with no chance of getting to the top table then what's really in it for Championship and League 1 clubs to accept the changes?
