Never really rated him to be honest, maybe Saints fans have a different view.

I've never been able to reconcile his articulate and savvy media appearances, with the grubby on-field antics; but fair play to him for his longevity and success in the game.

Retiring, or off to Toronto?

Not big enough for international RL. Had gone into a state of torpor under fatty, but rejuvenated under Holbrook. My favourite memory is Senior decking him at Headingley.

Fine as a pundit but one of the worst losers of recent memory. It became standard for every Saints GF loss to be followed by a Wilkin whine and complaint.

Decent enough player in his earlier days but as his career has passed he has become more and more niggly and a bit of a cheap shot merchant IMO

Grub. His longevity at Saints is almost as baffling as Paul Cloughs 10 years there.

Is it though, fairly sure his parents just spelt John wrong on his birth certificate.
