Decent game this. Ref is making some odd decisions though. ‘Murphy offside and within the 10m’ - that rule only applies to a kick where someone is waiting to catch it?

It didn't last season when Thaler disallowed a Cas try because of that very same thing. just within 10 is offside if you go with those 2 situations.

Players feigning injury for the VR to make a decision needs stamping out and it's questionable to me that the RFL have let a former Huddersfield employee ref a game they're involved in when they need wins to get in the 8...

My opinion is that the video ref should only be allowed to judge on try or no try, and not radio down with things mid game.

Another abject performance. It's every alternate week now.

On one hand, I detest players staying down if they are hit high

On the other hand 1. Don't put in high shots and 2. The refs should spot them in the first place

Cas have turned into right cheap shot merchants, hits to the head and niggling, they don't need to do that but they are..

Coulda turned that off at halftime, Cas were as flat as a fart while Shudds kept on making it happen, and not without some style too.
Only hope for Cas is that they've put the cue on the rack and are settling for a top 8 power play, can't see it though.
Gotta give it to Shudds though, from deadbeats to the top 8 has been a solid turn around, there were signs a few games before the new coach that they were getting something together, so I'm gonna go with a bit of team harmony and proper hard work on the playing side, if the new coach has anything extra to add, its all good for Shudds.
