Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Semi Final Draw

The draw for the semi-final of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup took place at St Helens following their victory over Hull FC.

In a ground breaking move, the semi-finals will be played back-to-back at Bolton’s Macron Stadium on the 5th August, kicking off at 12:30 and 14:45, with both games being broadcast live on the BBC in a rugby league extravaganza.

Catalans Dragons, Leeds Rhinos, St Helens and Warrington Wolves were all in the hat with hopes of a Wembley trip on the 25th of August.

Going to be tough for Leeds, thankfully it's 2 months away and not 2 weeks. A lot change between now and the semis.

Cringeworthy from Saints fans chanting Wembley as soon as they got Catalans especially after they scraped through today.

As it stands looks like a Saints v wire final.

Even as a leeds fan, i wouldn't mind too much seeing that, both look the best 2 sides in SL right now.

I don't think the majority of saints fans will see it that way, Catalans have a big pack like Hull and we always seem to struggle to put the game out of reach. Saints will obviously be favourites but its a long way off to the semis and playing form can change. Holbrook will put this game on the back burner now until he sees what cards he is going to be dealt with.
The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.

Just so you know, Paul Rowley is highly thought of here in Toronto.
