Taking a look at Leigh’s home crowds, Toronto Wolfpack take 2000 more away fans than Featherstone Rovers.

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.

Seems a good decision by those Super League clubs to give 500k to Leigh as a parachute payment.

If it is indicative of their future decisions all will be well with the sport...

Bad times for Leigh but good for the Championship. Shows the quality is improving and its good to have shock results and more teams being in with a shout of the top 4.

Although they didn't give London a bigger crowd. Must be cos Leigh's so close to Manchester.

Wow. Another loss. In any sport, it’s always difficult to get out of a rut when confidence is low.

The result is irrelevant when some numpty Fev fan thought it appropriate to let off fireworks, and hits a young child in the Fev end.

Horrible fans

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

Numpty aside, 7 or maybe 8 losses is the maximum any team has had and made the Qualifiers. Leigh have already hit half that quota and have already played 4 home games....next up is a trip to the Shay and if they don't win that then I can see them struggling to get anything from the season.

I find it quite funny how quickly the tide can change, after all it's not too long ago that Leigh fans were actually trying to wind up Rhinos fans about what they were going to do once they reached SL

It's clearly plain to see that the cockiness that was previously shown in abundance has now been replaced by very loud bouts of booing at the end of each game #FICKLEFANS

I feel sorry for Beaumont who has ploughed all of the cash in by simply living the dream of Leigh being a top SL club,I dread to think how much money he has lost into the bargain so far

If he pulls the plug then what will happen to Leigh?

If he pulls the plug then the best Leigh can hope for is League 1.

If that happened then it would be interesting to see, perhaps in 2019, the Leigh fans welcoming a team from Avignon

Totally agree. I had the misfortune of being at Bradford a couple of seasons ago when the Salford hooligans were doing the same. It’s not very nice for the women and children in attendance
