Toulouse for Championship in 2017, Super League in 2021!

Avignon for Championship in 2021, Super League in 2022!

I am surprised that there has been little discussion of Warrrington signing Steven Price as its new coach.

Steven Price has had limited NRL experience and the nearly three years he was in charge of St George-Illawarra were very unsuccessful.

Price's immediate predecessor at St.George-Illawarra, supercoach Wayne Bennnett, for his three years in charge had a 65% win ratio (the same as he has achieved with Brisbane Broncos), and this included a Grand Final win in 2010

From 2012-2014 Price coached 58 games for 21 wins and 37 losses. That amounts to a win ratio of 36%, which is truly poor. No wonder St George-Illawarra sacked him.

Price's successor Paul McGregor has had a 47% win ratio.

Warrington's owner must have panicked when his club was placed in the Middle 8s and threatened with relegation.

So I would be very surprised if Warrington are contending for silverware in 2018.

And now he's let the Wire's only Frenchman go. He's clearly a walking disaster, zero season ticket sales for sure and bottom four finish a certainty.

On the other hand we could just wait and see......

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

Its warrington. His win record matches theirs. No decent coach in their right mind would touch Warrington with a barge pole so they have to recruit coaches that match their standard

Well if no decent coach would touch Warrington, arguably in the top three richest clubs in the country where coaches could pay out top dollar for transfer fees without it denting the club in any way, who is everyone else scratching around for?

Going back to his coaching record at stGeorge, well that was 8 years ago, coaches can improve. as for win ratios they can be deceptive. Brian McDermot at London, shocking low win ratio but nothing to work with, at Leeds the most successful coach ever in super league. Maybe like price their records would have been worst without him. time will tell on what he does at Warrington, but i cants see how a side who finished in middle 8's can go on and be super league champs in one season, ........ oh wait.

Awkward when he has a better CV than your coach Justin Holbrook having won the Grand Final twice as an assistant.

Why must Simon Moran have panicked?

Judge him at the end of the season. Could have been worse, Wire could have hired McNamara
