Has anybody heard anything about who will have the rights to screen the NRL in the UK next season?

Premier Sports have been great and I hope they are continuing, but the silence from them when you ask is suggesting that it's going elsewhere.

Anything from anybody?

Bilko tweeted last week that he expects 3 games a week on Sky with the rest on the Fox Sports app.

That's bad news.Premier have been great value having all the games on every week.

That's not sky exclusive though I presume. Pretty sure the fox sports app gives you access to every game.

I had a feeling last year that sky were gonna go back in for the NRL. I honestly thought we would only get 1 game per week. Not as good as premier but still 3 games is more then I expected.

SKY always owned the rights I think they just hiked them off to PS for a fee as SKY didn't have the channels or resource to bother with the amount of games.

Since the change in channel structure at SKY it is possible they now do have more capacity. PS have been great to RL except their naughtiness last weekend, generally we get almost 300 live RL games per year which pisses on SKY big time.

It would be sad if PS lose thier deal SKY will never give us anything like the content PS have.

Nah sky haven't shown live NRL for years. Even before PS got involved sky were only ever interested in state of origin. There is no chance they would have gave origin away.

Premier definitely won the UK rights and managed to take origin away from sky.

I do not want to go back to winter but I did like it when after watching ours in winter then we watched the NRL in summer it was rugby league all year long
