Oh, Did you know that you haven't beaten Catalans this season, and lost to Leigh at home........Just saying like.

We have beaten Catalans this season and although those results are disappointing, I can console myself with another trip to Wembley and sitting comfortable in a play off position.

Not sure what that has to to do with the qualifiers and Leigh though?

Oh no,now you've done it. I predict a "I will console myself with a wembley final and a top 4 finish".The smugness has been dialled down a little up here since Huddersfield made good lads of them. 50/50 on Saturday, should be good

Just facts Craig and a bit harsh after the nice things I've just said about Rovers always thought it would be tough against Wigan, have some really big game players and a cup pedigree, think you are right about it being 50/50. Although I don't think the result against Hudds has any bearing on it.

I'm also looking forward to it, will be much more relaxed with the monkey off our back.

Just to put it into perspective Widnes play Leigh in the next round, winner of that goes to six points, draw and both on five. Hull KR beat Featherstone, they are then 4/3 points clear of 4th. I'd fancy the chances of them gaining at least one point in their final three games and gaining automatic promotion. Especially since they go to Widnes in round 5.

Catalan desperately need the win v Fax and Featherstone otherwise they'll be pulled right in the dog fight, especially if London pull off a win v Warrington & then v Fax the week after.

London may beat Fax but, they wont get near Warrington.
As for Catalan, they are right in it and look like being the away team in the MPG, which will be extremely tough for them.
You'd like to think that a former national coach would be able to stir them into action but, there has been very little "bounce" since his appointment, they are in a perilous position right now.

TBF I was of the opinion Fc pack would have the edge and the bigger backs going at Wigans right edge would see them home. Also thanks again to Mr Frosties I was wanting to look again at the next round of middle 8s fixtures.Hard to call finishing order.

Looking at the fixtures I think there is a chance that the difference between automatic promotion and MPG goes on points difference.

Rovers beat Warrington and Fev = 10 points
Catalans beat Rovers, Fev, Fax and Widnes = 10 points
Widnes beat Rovers, London and Leigh = 10 points
Leigh beat Fax and London = 8 points

That would put 2-4 place on 10 points.

Any combination of results can happen but I think we can get over Widnes and/or Catalans.Widnes have only 1 home game left.The Warrington away game hopefully will be between 2 safe teams.Minns Scruton Quinlan all ready to return.like was said earlier it is predictions and no team is safe or doomed yet.
