Manchester Terrorist Attack : Tue May 23, 2017 10:15 am  

Horrible, horrible day and pray that no-one that uses these boards has been affected by last night's events. I think most people have been expecting something to happen in Manchester at some point but it's still a massive shock and thoughts & prayers go out to everybody who has lost loved ones in such a mindless act of violence. How we prevent these barbaric attacks, god only knows, if these sick individuals want to destroy the lives of innocent people then unfortunately they'll always find a way.

We're a strong and resilient bunch us Northerners tho and there is no way we'll let these sc*mbags win. Let's stand together and show the world what an amazing bunch of people we are. Hopefully all RL clubs will put on a co-ordinated show of support in this weekends round of matches and send out a message of solidarity.

The RFL needs to arrange extra armed security and help of MI5 and MI6 for the Challenge Cup final in August and the Grand Final in October

even the tongue cheek suggestion that the RFL has any influence on British Intelligence Services or armed police is enough to bring me out in a cold sweat.

I am happy to leave our security arrangements to the experts, however I do hope I never read another post complaining about security checks or searches!

The UK threat level has been raised to critical.If the upcoming high profile events are permitted,whilst under the category "critical" you will see armed soldiers in place.

More chance of being killed/Seriously injured in a road incident than a 'terrorist' attack.
More organised fear, disruption and distraction tactics by the power mogels/Jewish banking system to control the plebs, this attack was not only on the cards it was organised by those who most think are there to protect us.

Are you saying, without any possible evidence, that our own government organised it - where I have heard that before?
