How could it be anything you wanted? Surely ground safety regulations would have a say! They still play a part these days,do they not?

I thought franchising carried stadia criteria of minimum capacity of 10,000,or have those days gone.

It's utterly ridiculous.

We have to either admit that we are a "northern" part time sport and leave other nations to look after themselves or, embrace some positive change.
Having said that, if, in 5 years time, we end up with a "Super League" with 2 French clubs and 2 North American clubs, the logistics for all of its participants will be somewhat higher than they currently are and do we really trust the current hierarchy to get anything close to a decent TV deal for those clubs (and those in the Championship).

expect to see the usual parade of RL chairman stood on building sites with a Hi-Viz and shovel over the next few weeks! when those Licences got submitted a few years ago there was more SL chairman on building sites than in the boardroom!

I live near a director of a SL club and every season when the RFL were going around he'd get me and a friend, hire two 360's from our firm and have us dig holes and move soil. he'd tell the RFL we were doing investigative work for a new stand. worked for years
