With Morgan Escare and Theodore Fages in their current excellent form, and a very strong French pack, I would predict England 30 France 22 if played in France, and England 36, France 16 if played in England.

I'd have actually been interested in posting about this topic had you not decided to play the "let's do the full first name game" schtick. It's boring and puts people off.

Just post like a sociable normal person and people are more likely to interact positively with you. It's not really difficult.

For me the England team would look more like this:

Hardaker (if mental state is okay)
J.Burgess
Gildart (maybe too young but others haven't cemented this spot, plus he partners Burgess at Wigan).
Watkins
Hall
Widdop
Gale
Graham
Hodgson
Hill
Bateman
Whitehead
S.Burgess

Clark/Roby
T. Burgess
G. Burgess
Cooper/In form pack member.

Can swap Burgess and Gildart for McGillvary and Percival if nessecary. Also long term I'd like to see Currie, Whitehead and Bateman as the back 3 in the pack. That England team vs. Jean's France team would win comfortably.

It must be a good sign that for the first time in my life watching rugby league, I can name a France 17 off the top of my head. I hope they get themselves in a good place for the World Cup.

As for England that team named clearly isn't our strongest and there's some top players to come back from injury. I'm hoping come the end of the year Sam Tomkins and Ben Currie are back and bang in form because both are needed.

Genuine question NickyKiss. Do you think that Sam Tomkins will return to his previous form? He's not looked anywhere near the same player, when I have seen him play, since he got back from the NRL
