Nothing wrong with pointing out the issues a side had last year whether it's Leeds, Cas, Wakey. But when the likes of Leeds, Wigan and Saints win GF's and all you hear from some supporters of smaller clubs is that we only win stuff because the referees are bent towards us and we have Red Hall in our back pockets then it's ridiculous when Wakey fans want credit for finishing 8th only because Salford got deducted points and with the leakiest defence in the competition.

However the point you make kind of validates my point. People generalise about Wakefield possibly more than any other club - maybe Salford suffer in a similar way. You can't base your predictions on how Wakey have faired in the past six years or even the last 17 years it's silly. You can only judge on last years and whats been done since then. Thus where you place us is subjective I accept that even if I think it's wrong but how anyone can place us or any other existing SL team below the newly promoted team (whoever they may be) does truly offend because it's totally devoid of reasoning IMHO.

However I've been on these forums long enough to know reasoning has little to do with what some post on here, doesn't mean they should't be prodded occasionally

It'd be funny if what you said was actually true. Most Wakefield fans couldn't give a crap about Watkins, but hey there's nothing like a bit of generalisation & exaggeration to try to make a point, now that's tragic. What does make it funny is loads of your own fans were ripping him to him from start to finish last season.
