Most Leeds fans think he's world class.

Some of those think he's (potentially) the best centre in the world.

I think he's an idler who, more often than not, cannot be @rsed. His defence is also atrocious. And he's a flat-track bully.

Ah but according to some on here his inclusion is based on his 'form' from 1895 not this year, he's a fooking lazy lover when in the England shirt and offers no threat whatsoever.
He's got all the physical attributes yet does bugger all, he's basically a poor mans Keith Senior and he wasn't all that for England either.
Don't care if its not his best position, I'd have Bateman in front of Watkins 100/100.

Whilst I don't particularly rate Watkins as high as the Leeds fans who think he is the best super league centre ever, please don't say Atkins over him. Even a blind man could see Atkins is an absolutely shocking centre.

Watkins, Atkins or MOST of our English super league centres all have the same thing in common... They are good players carried in great teams.

A centre is usually as good as the pass he recieves or the position his winger is in.
I thought he did a pretty good job.
To suit England we probably need somebody tough who will run in tough and eat up the oppositions energy.
Someone like Bateman or even Ferres. I know they're not centres but this evening Watkins pretty much did a job they could do but not as effective.
