McGillvary - a certainty I think
Hall - dunno, what has happened to him this season? Wasn't he dropped for Leeds' last game? I voted for him though because he has been class for England in the past
Burgess - probably be in the squad thanks to his form late in the season with Souths

No, he missed the last game due to injury but was back tonight.

Hall was frankly fairly awful towards the end of last season, not least that league leaders shield game where Hudds were only ahead due to some of his calamities. He's probably the only Leeds player to play better, when not injured, this year than last.

Hall and McGillvary seem certainties. It's a shame they've been playing in the middle 8's but then in fairness some of those games have been more competative then the top tier.

I'd have loved to see how Manfredi would have got on. He looks a nightmare to play against and sadly he may not come back as the same player after a bad injury. In terms of who backs up Hall and McGillvary I think Joe Burgess may get a shot after a good end to the season or they may just use Hardaker as a utility back up.

There should be no certainties when it comes to the national side. Or are we going down the football route, where Hodgson picked Gerrard and Rooney despite the fact they were crap?

I'm not sure who I'd pick but how the hell Hall and McGillvary are considered favourites is beyond me as both have been utter crap this season.

I know class (both are) is permanent and form is temporary but there has to be some form!

What it does show is that had Tom Johnstone not fractured a bone in his leg he would have been an absolute certainty compared to the opposition because compared to most of those mentioned he's a real 100% winger. Even on his return and not fully fit and in an out of form team he's still averaging nearly a try a game and 20 tries in 25 appearances and 4 MOM.
