I agree the timing of the games seems odd.
That said they have now opened part of the Upper Tier for Olympic Stadium, so sales must be decent. Had a quick scan of tickets for Coventry and there doesn't seem to be a single block sold out which isn't the best of starts, but still a few weeks to go.
