Leigh and London are the two heavyweight teams in the Championship.
London has only one former NRL star in its ranks, Jamie Soward, while Leigh has many. Leigh has virtually an NRL reject pack of forwards, plus Michael Higham from Super League. However London forged its way into second spot without the help of maestro Soward. So London now has a classy x-factor in Soward added into its mix.
The weakest of the Super League teams is probably Hull KR, though Huddersfield has been more often bad than good this year. Either of those teams is probably vulnerable to a defeat at the hands of Leigh or London. Still Leigh or London will probably have to beat all of their rival Championship teams to qualify for the Million Pound Game. But it can be done.

That depends on who we have on on the pitch, if we have our best 17, we are a top 8 side, but I'd say current numbers do make us one of the weakest on paper. If we get Campo and Kelly back together we will be a match for anyone in the middle 8's.

Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.
Personally I'm not looking forward to visiting Leigh or Leeds: the former has a player or two wanting to get their own back on Salford and the latter has reached great form (late, as Leeds normally does). Leigh have home games against Salford, Huddersfield, Batley and London and should win two (at least) of those. London have to travel to Salford, Leigh and Huddersfield. So, of the two, Leigh are more in the driving seat. HKR have got a poor draw: away at Fev, London, Leeds, and Salford.

In fairness, you would expect Salford and Leeds to get through the M8's at a canter. KR and Huddersfield will also come through and if Leigh dont make an impact this time, there will be some major dummy spitting.
A massive well done to Batley and Fev for qualifying. For Batley to make it, with a salary spend of £130k, is a modern day sporting miracle and further enhances Kear's legendary status. A truly phenomenal feat

Most rovers fans are quite pleased with the draw I think getting Leigh at home was important
But that won't happen, hence the concerns we have in East Hull.
Still, I'm confident enough that we won't take Leigh lightly after the scare we had with them last year.
Funny how so many see HKR as being the most vulnerable of the SL sides. You deserved to beat us last week yet most seem to think we'll survive. And it'll be interesting to see how quickly various new signings fit in; there's a real risk that some sides who've recruited heavily might simply fail to gel sufficiently quickly. I reckon KR will be fine.

If they deserved to beat us - but still lost - I'd say that is cause for concern.
