The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

not necessarily. As Him stated, despite our obvious poor form had we been the right side of the close games we have lost by a few points, and there are a lot, then we would still be in the mix for the 4 this year. Wigan and Saints are not that much better than Leeds and look where they sit right now because they have ground out results.

It is going to take a bit of time to steady the ship, and we may have to our medicine in the middle 8s but i don't see it being more than a mini blip when looking around at the overall bench marks in SL right now i can see us back amongst the top few next year no problem.

Thats what I'm saying its not all down to injuries, in the first 5 games games of super league Leeds didn't have a long injury list and yet managed to lose 4 games out of 5, there was and probably still is a lack of leadership and there option and decision making after the 5th tackle has been very un-leeds like. There seems to be a bit of improvement with JJB back and Burrow but there are still quite a few quality players who don't seem to be putting in a good shift.

fair assessment.

I don't want to make excuses, Leeds being bottom after 13 rounds is shocking to be fair and we have been awful for long spells of games and are where we are because of it and deserve to be.I was just pointing out how we could easily have been top half even playing like this.

As opposed to Victimman which also makes zero sense.

makes perfect sense. It may not be the complete works of Oscar Wilde but is pretty easy to understand.

Or are you sat at the cinema scratching your head and wondering why that guy in the black outfit is called Batman?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Frederick Douglas

Rovers have a load of injuries and we've managed to compound that by, for the most part, being absolutely shizzle and will therefore deserve to finish bottom.

I do think we'll scrape through the Rubbish Eights.

I think we will do well to gain home advantage in the MPG.

Debating the effect of injuries on a team isn't pointless, to adequately assess the performances you have to take in such factors. I would say Leeds losing McGuire or Huddersfield losing Brough has a bigger effect on those teams than losing say a second rower.

As for lack of training facilities, which clubs lose their training facilities approx a third of the way through pre-season? If training facilities don't matter why do clubs try and build their own to their own specifications?

I didn't say debating effects of injuries on a team is pointless- but debating who's had it worse is as its not cut and dried just a case of counting numbers. As you say it depends who is missing and what combinations are missing and when they are missing.
I'm not saying facilities don't matter - I'm pointing out not all clubs have their own top notch facilities to start with!
One thing is for sure, there have never been so many injuries in SL. is it coincidence???

So, if you'd won the games you lost, you'd be in the top 4? Yes, I can see how that would work.

Love the way fans look at the games they could've, should've won and think that losing by a try or so means they can add point to their totals whilst completely ignoring the fact that out of their 3 wins 2 of them were won by a score or less and could easily have been losses.
