He was very laid back as well and his soul purpose was to win games in the sport, I think winning medals and personal honours was secondary. Very humble person who didnt like a lot of fuss, he won the Man of Steel Trophy but he left it in his rental home in Rainford when he returned back to OZ.

I think "killer" will now concentrate of killing wild hogs in his bashed up jeep.

Richie Barnett (the Kiwi) was extremely good. IMO up there with Lyon

Just on Jamie Lyon, the commentators last week (I think it was), it might have been Rabbits, were talking about approaching 1500 career points.

Were they including the 500-odd he scored for Saints? Well, what do you think?

You know the rules on VT, you're not allowed to nominate players from non top 4 clubs unless you're prepared to be ridiculed or ignored.

Our centre at the time was Shontayne Hape and I wouldn't have swapped him for Lyon.

I don' think Hape had the performance longevity he spent a third of his career in Rugby Union. Jamie Lyon spent most of his career 16 years (360+ games) at the highest level.
