Before coming back in with the next semi-humorous retort about what were light hearted jokes about a serious matter, have a think about what might be done to change the situation a bit. Then post a few of those ideas and add something to this increasingly redundant forum.

Well done. I see references to rugby league in England, Australia, New Zealand, PNG, Tonga, Samoa cause you issues. Curious.

And 3 threads. That could be a world record.

Every Rugby League club should offer season tickets for a fiver to every bona fide registered playing member of every rugby club (League or Union) in its catchment area.

Yeah I would rather 100 pages of Sam Burgess which is what I saw when I registered today.

Taking this seriously for a moment, I am hopeful the other sporting disasters we have had in other sports might be an opportunity for our game to take a bit more confidence and move forward as a modern sport.

Opportunity time for the RFL.

Why wouldn't it be serious? Looking on from sometimes afar and sometimes not, the constant negativity surrounding British rugby league is frankly embarrassing and arcane. We have a vibrant, at times, magical sport which has a long and distinguished record of inclusiveness. Our history is an open book not full of dark closets. Celebrate it!

There is no way for instance rugby league in Australia would have allowed the monumental sporting event that was the 1954 Challenge Cup Final replay to have sort of drifted off into the atmosphere without being properly acknowledged continuously over time. I think Robert Gate even said as much in his book on the subject.

Maybe it might be due for correction?

Does Huddersfield have any linkage to the fact it was one of the greatest teams in the history of rugby league - the Team of All Talents?

Does Salford with the 1930s?

Two fifths of bugger all.

Other sports would kill for this sort of linkage lasting so long and featuring so much rich history.

Unfortunately your response is typical of the forum.

At least he is trying to raise some issues which unfortunately are quiet valid.

( even if he does come across like an excitable kid with his first computer).
Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers

Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????
