Either way and we can go into the semantics of what the third place team was, your conspiracy theory that the RFL is only interested in three of four particular teams taking part is still nonsense, unless you think that they set a guarantor figure so high to push your club out of it?

I agree that the qualification process is a bit flaky and it should be obvious who has right to be in the expanded WCC. Perhaps some prize money on qualification would tempt you tightwads next time? FWIW I like the concept and is a good opportunity to promote the sport

The irony that IF results go a certain way Hull KR could now be playing in the 2016 WCC.....from the championship.

Surely it would just be nice and clear to say that in the event of a double, it's the losing Grand Finalist; abs in the event of a treble, it's the top 3 ranked teams in the league?

The top 3 ranked teams in the league will be the treble winners (1st, GF winners, CC winners), the losing Grand Finalist (winner of 2nd vs 3rd playoff) and the 3rd highest ranked team (loser of 2nd vs 3rd playoff).

So instead of making it long and confusing, they can get what they want simply by saying that.

At least it's a bone fide plan, I wonder how the Aussies selection process will work this year .
