Dragons into the Top Eight The Catalans Dragons were looking for a victory to lift them above their visitors, Hull KR and to catapult them back into the all important top eight. It was a game with the promise of plenty of points as these two have form for scoring and conceding plenty of points against one another.
The home side were without the likes of Dureau, Anderson and Tonga but the Robins had their own injury problems and gave Australian Dane Tilse his debut.
Richard Silverwood was in the middle, and while we started the game in the dry there was the threat of heavy rain as we moved into early evening.

There is no way you can compare the injury problem of Hull KR with those of Catalans Dragons. The Robins had a couple missing. But the Dragons were missing Villiami Sione Tonga, Benjamin Pomeroy, Vincent Duport, Scott Dureau, Louis Anderson, Gregory Mounis and Jeffrey Lima. That is half the starting side! The team was severely weakened by those absences, especially in the backline. Yet the replacements, especially Gadwell Springer and Mouad Yaha, performed magnificently. This shows the rich vein of rugby league talent that resides in France.

We had 6 missing you had 7, Darrell Goulding,Kris Welham,Liam Salter,Mitch Allgood,Shaun Lunt and James Donaldson were missing for Rovers,
Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Gadwell? Instead of being a prat extending names, maybe you need to learn them first.
You are hopelessly wrong as usual. Gadwin Springer was born and educated in French Guiana, which is not part of Germany. He is of French nationality even though he may have German ancestors.

No, you're thinking of Gadwell. Gadwin Springer is the new German scrum-half from Bayern Munich RL that is going to kickstart league in Germany. viewtopic.php?p=17979602#p17979602
