That'd be one of the worst places in thr world to host a World Cup in any sport, especially for the spectators.

Not if a few billionaires are willing to invest a lot of money into the sport. However without that it would be crazy.

It's narrow minded viewpoints like this that have held the sport back for over 50 years...ffs have you no thoughts about how this could help the sport aside from the (misplaced/unfounded) worry about the speccies?

It's a ridiculous idea to have any World Cup be it football or rugby in the middle East please enlighten us how this would help our sport been in a country that doesn't even know what rugby league is

Most of the UK doesn't know what rugby league is. UAE's domestic competition is sponsored by Nissan. I don't even know who Super League's sponsor is.
