There's obviously been an agreement that there won't be any sendings off. It's the only explanation for such bizarre leniency.

Agreed.

Both tackles warranted time in the cooler, the only decision on both was red or yellow.
The tackle on Penny, although he clearly wasn't badly injured was a red card all day long

Ultimately those two incidents cost Warrington the game.

Dunno about a cracking game. He was a bit better than I expected, that's about all. Fully agree with red card all day long. If they're not for "tackles" like that, what are they for?

And there was I believing that they hadn't scored more points than the opposition which is why they lost.

Oooh, what a clever response, not.
It's fair to say ,that they would have scored more points, if there were 1 or 2 of their opponents sitting out a chunk of the game

Here's an opportunity.

How can you prove that Warrington would have scored more points if the Dragons had been 2 players short.

Can you really have predicted they could? For all we know they could have dropped the ball anytime they had an opportunity, given a forward pass, were denied possession by the opposition etc., etc..

It's all wishful thinking. If you know they would have done then you will know the lottery winning numbers and the winner of every handicap horse race.

it was also fair to say that in soccer Chelsea would take a 2-0 lead against Bradford City but lose 4-2 , and you and every "expert" saw that one coming didn't they

Widnes won against us after going down by a man and pulled off a draw against Wigan this year.

I do think the game would have been a lot different, not sure how it would have been different but it going one man down means both teams tactics change.

Obviously someone getting sent off gives an advantage to the team with more players, if not they would "penalise" teams by letting them put an extra player on the pitch ???
Of course there is no certainty that Wire would have won but, it would certainly give them a better chance.

Would you rather play against 12 or 13 ?
