25 minutes down the road for what is essentially a derby between the unbeaten league leaders & th 3rd place team with only 2 points between them..Thursday or not that's bang average

6901 at Tigers - 1000 up on last years Sunday fixture dispite Salford only bringing 4 people and that included 3 bodyguards for MK.

Not really, anyone with kids in school on friday either cant go at all or cant take them. Its also a big ask for anyone on shift for 6am Friday. If that game was friday night i think you could have added at least 3k to the crowd

That's a cracking crowd for Cas... are Friday nights the chosen fixture time for them now?

Good crowds at Hull and Leeds, should be close to 10k for Cas hull next week.

Compared with the same fixtures last year then there is little difference in the figures.

Cas up an extra 1000, but others up or down by a few hundred, so not much difference and still some games to play.

Is this the 2nd or 3rd year they have insisted on Saints v Warrington being on a Thursday? Is there a limit to how many Thursday nights a club can get. Personally I have had Saints v Catalan on a Thursday rather than Warrington as there would be less of an effect on a Catalan game.

Saints were top last year and Warrington doing well for the same fixture. They keep churning it out on a Thursday night. If you keep doing the same thing, then expect to get the same result.

Thursdays are crap, I don't even think the jury is out on this one, they are just poor nights to play. Put it on a Friday/Sat/Sun and regardless of league position you would slap 2 - 4 thousand on that gate.

It's a about keeping the customer happy and whilst the TV need a programme for Thursdays, these low Thursday crowds will continue. Saints adapted to Friday nights a long time ago, because of the nature of Sky putting is on a lot.

I dont see why they can't move the Thursday night game to Sunday evening at 6 or 7 ko.The super sunday football is done by then.

I think it's about filling the schedule.as you say Sunday has footy. Thursday has very little in the way of regular sports.
