something isnt right in the management ,last decent coach for france was monie past his prime but he had a 2008 world cup shocker nobody wants the gig.i posted this eleswhere if usa can intice the caliber of elliot,smith then matterson surely france management selection can improve on agar/ goulding?that france team can do way better than that agar had france playin 80s style support play was abhorrant , offloads?feel sorry for france they are the audley harrison of Rl theyve got the pedigree promise so much but inevitably fail to deliver

Agar managed to coach any adventure out of the French side last night. I didn't see the point in playing the numbers game against one of the strongest sides in the WC. Trying to match the kiwis in the forwards is all well and good but you have to let your backs have a pop at them out wide. You'd have thought he would have told them to throw it around a bit after HT but it was all very much the same tactically off the French. They can play way better and thought they didn't do themselves any good last night.

Yes of course he told them to not play well and drop the ball.

Or maybe they were put under pressure by the world champions.

We don,t really have any English coaches anywhere near international standard. Take England for instance nearly all the players appear better when playing for there clubs where they have a reasonable plan or structure, when they play for England they always seem to be de coached and play with constraint.
McBanana for instance wouldn,t get a gig in Superleague so I don,t know how he can coach with international ability.

The latest coaches for France in Goulding and now Agar doesn't give the french international game any favours.

Shaun Wane, Tony Smith (sure he counts himself as english these days), Paul anderson and Brian Mcdermott in no particular order i think all of them could do a good job with this english squad. all of them have shown they can coach structure and set game plan.

Tony Smith is a British citizen so has every right to count himself as English.
