No charge for Liam Watts. The RFL see sense, though probably down to the social media attention from current/ex players about it being the wrong decision.

Thanks to the referee, we have been reduced to 12 men, in a vitally important game that we lost in the last few minutes, due to an incorrect call. Brilliant.

The RFL haven't said it was an incorrect call though. They have said sending off sufficient which means there was an offence committed whether it was accidental or not.

the rfl contradict themselves in the wording! they just cant accept it was a wrong call and say they got it wrong


nowhere do they say watts was leading with his arm or elbow

I remember James Graham going to charge a drop kick down in the NRL and accidentally catching the standing leg. A penalty was given even though he didn't do anything wrong. I suspect the RFL have seen it as accidental and therefore said it was sending off sufficient.

worthy of an on field penalty! yellow card yes, we saw the fev player carlisle get a yellow v catalan on saturday, so where is the consistancy

now ill leave you to get back to your own crack n spice seeing as your players are little angels!

I hate the wording, as a sending off wasn't sufficient. From their wording, it was not even worthy of a Red, so it should read "On-field call incorrect"

the similarity in reading keal carlise and sicknotes report! no wonder the rfl leave themselves open for criticism

as for late hits, didnt the rfl bring out the yellow card to protect the kicker!?

regardless of yellow or not, the officials got it wrong, like most things last friday night!
