Dressage or Gymnastics aren't exactly well watched sports

Not really, it smacks of desperation (unsurprisingly) and incompletion.

A proper comparison map would've been Super League vs Aviva Premiership......you've felt the (increasing) desperate need the add the Welsh, Irish and Scottish teams from the Guinness Pro 12 to make it look even more wide spread. The lack of Treviso and Zebre make your inclusion of the other Pro 12 even more pointless.
