Comprehensively beaten in every aspect of the game - not much fun to watch as a neutral, apart form the collective glee that most non-Wigan fans experience when watching Wigan lose.
The whole injury/Wigan flu narrative is quite interesting; wasn't there a time when the Wigan system was so entrenched, that players could step up from their Academy with a solid idea of how to run the plays and structures they relied on to grind down their opponents? Granted, they might not do it with such robotic efficiency as your O'Loughlins and Farrells, but they still knew where to stand and run and were possessed of the basic qualities such as being able to pass, catch and tackle. That no longer appears to be the case.
