They have won more than Cas have in recent history. They have a better attendance than Cas does, even though they dont get many away fans. They have a better stadium than cas. Cas have done nothing to raise the profile of RL in this country nor the national team.

I think Cas should be kicked out as they are pretty much pointless

I love these what do they bring to superleague threads.
The only reason to be in Super League is to play rugby, entertain fans and gain an income to grow your club.
There is no responsibility to super league. It's for individual clubs to do their best.

If their best isn't good enough for super league entry criteria then they leave.
But none of that criteria is brining income to the opposition.

The best thing about Catalans is, when they score a try against the home team....it's total silence....a'la Toronto, Toulouse, London etc
Who needs an 'atmosphere' at RL games anyway...
WELL DONE THE RFL !

Some of the best 'atmospheres' I've experienced as a fan have been games without any away fans there. Games against Canterbury, Melbourne and Manly for example.

It's not the opposing fans that create an atmosphere, it's the occasion.
I wish everyone would read bramleyrhino's post two or three times just to get it through some thick skulls

Mr bramleyrhino speaks a lot of sense.

If you're going to take the moral high ground, at least get the basics right.

Regards,

just another Castleford bigot.

Likewise, I'm from Leeds, have worked in beeston and armley so can safely say some of the drag ends from those areas for example make the people of Castleford appear to be angelic saints, afterall I speak with total authority, that's before we've so much as scratched the surface of places like Halton, Whinmoor, harehills.

The thread is blatantly tongue in cheek at how certain posters on a daily basis are pointing fingers and bordering on racism towards the English!
