Lots of talk that Wakefield are close to signing Andrew Fifita as well as retaining David - one hell of a signing for the club if true

Agreed, would be a sign of WTW moving in the right direction & making better player acquisition decisions.

They've not made any bad decisions per se, they've made appointments based on need and with a view to take the club back into the black, this has left them in a spot towards the bottom of the league in recent years, spending less than a couple of Championship clubs on their squad. One can only assume that the finances have been somewhat resolved now, so the club feel able to acquire players like Williams and seemingly offer a contract to arguably the world's current best prop
