| The next step in the Rugby League French Revolution would be some success for the National team against a tier one nation.
I am aware France play England before the test series against the Kiwis, I expect France to narrowly lose that game. However if they play the Kiwis after the series, as is often the case, I believe the team below, with the confidence of a Challenge Cup win, will beat New Zealand. The Kiwis will no doubt expect they only have to show up to win the game, and be in for a rude awakening.

As I’ve said in other threads, I’m genuinely pleased for Catalans winning the challenge cup, but don’t kid yourself that it makes them now a top Rugby League nation. Thats not a bad side, but not enough there to challenge any tier one nation in my opinion. A full strength England, New Zealand and Australia would be out of sight with plenty to spare. Plus, its very rare that you have a fully fit squad to pick from, so who are the squad players to cover injuries? French Rugby League is heading in the right direction, but they are nowhere near ready to challenge the big boys yet on the international stage and won’t be whilst they only have one club playing in the top flight. I’d back the Knights squad to get a win over that side to be honest.

Wrong thread.....if you want to out a troll, then stick the the right thread.....drifting and mixing is exacly what they want.....and yes, there are more than one of them.....
France will defeat most sides from the big 3 down, but heritage sides will still have too much for them.......PNG v France would be a great series

| With this Catalan side achieving the unachievable, Les Chanticleers have an enormous opportunity to find triumph against traditional opposition.

I agree that all the tier one sides are better than the French team named. However if they can catch one on an off day, such as New Zealand when they think they will win easy and there’s nothing to play for as it’s the last game in the season, there could be an upset.
France need to play PNG, Fiji and Samoa more, they are all a similar level. Profits from the World Cup should be used to make more internationals happen, not to pay the Australian side $20k per game.

And someone needs to be prepared to pay for this to happen....France v Tonga in Auckland would fill Mt Smart at NZ$20 a pop,,,,,but getting France to NZ will cost more than the nz$300,000 gate.....a 3 test series would maybe cover the costs, but it would be a struggle......

| I'm still hopeful Gadwin Springer can fulfil his potential, he hasn't kicked on yet but he is young enough to improve and develop into the player he needs to be.
