One for the older Northern supporters, a friend of mine is looking for information on Derek Davies, he signed for Hull from Leeds in 1964 he only played eight games for Hull, does anyone know what happened to Derek after he left Hull, playing record etc, much obliged in advance.

We have a few Davies's who played for the Northern/Bulls over the years, including a 'Derek'. He played a total of 139 games, scoring 37 tries, covering 7 seasons from 1955/6 to 1961/2, so it's unlikely, though possible, that he's the one you describe. I haven't any other details though, other than the basic ones already given. There is no other likely candidate for your Derek, not even any vague 'D' as we often get with many of the old names.

Much appreciated Bulliac, I will pass the information on to my pal, he definitely played for Hull, but after this we are drawing a blank, once again thank you for helping.
