On Gledhills show Craig H has strongly hinted that Jy is likely to sign tomorrow

John Kear was being interviewed and was asked about recruitment. He said to Craig that he needed to give his client a pen so that he could sign the contract he had been offered. He said he would get on to it tomorrow. It was left at that until JK was gone. But then there were several comments about the postman (Jy’s nickname) delivering.

Apparently later it was discussed that Jy had a few offers to choose from, but Craig sounded fairly confident from what I heard.

I would love to see Jy as one of our players next year. But that being said, he's got the talent to play above our current level so I'm not too surprised to hear he's got other offers on the table. However, I'd be disappointed if he turned us down to go to another Championship club
To be the man.... I forget how the rest of that goes

Re Jy,he also said London were interested so it's not cut and dried.Hope we land him.
The more he talked of his honour, the faster we counted our spoons.

What are people's thoughts on the current squad stepping up?

I think even with no additions we'd be fairly competitive.

Somebody put on here ages ago that Vila was going to Keighley. He tries hard but I think league 1 is probably his level.

Vila is a decent enough L1 player. If he's going to Keighley I hope they sort their financial problems out.

Hitchcox would be an excellent signing.
