I was talking to the only (?) WW Raiders fan there, who was a nice bloke despite having been up to York the week before too. He told us about how they were down to about their 4th choice players at the moment, due to travel, work commitments and some of their players just plain stopping turning up to practices/games.

He was a knowledgable bloke and we talked about the future of the game, where WW Raiders were heading and some famous Welsh Bulls/Northern players of old too. He was sorely annoyed about the young welsh players being picked off by SL teams instead of working their way up through his, or similar, teams instead, which seems to be a better idea for the longevity of the sport. But when did SL/RFL ever consider that anyway.

I'll deffo be going to the return fixture, if only to support their club.

Thanks for the kind words.
I have written on TotalRL of my thanks and appreciation of you magnificent Rugby league fans.
An official of the club has written THIS The lad who failed to find touch with the penalty,in the second kick of the game, and then continued to kick to the same area of the field from each and every restart is normally playing centre/second row.
Please check League Express for the number of personnel changes since the start of the season and how many represented Wales at The Commonwealth Games tournament, and who were not in the side yesterday.
Our captain Morgan Evans was missing, and without a recognised half back, the leadership is lacking while the spine of your side contains Super League quality and Championship experience.
As per Total RL - under the Betfred League 1 heading - please head to Llanelli in September, after the school holidays,as your presence in the area will be the best advert rugby league in west Wales could possibly have.
Your sportsmanship and encouragement to the players, the majority of whom have no League 1 experience, cannot be matched.
You can discuss how you think Manchester Rangers should approach life in League 1 - should they get there.
Big money Toronto approach,or local players and develop them?

Great question regarding Manchester Rangers should they get in the league. They should definitely go with local lads to start the club going. They have an opportunity should they get in to really get stuck into the grass roots and show that there is a pathway for players into the pro game. Doing a Toronto would spell disaster for them in my eyes and offer no stability or sustainability

West Wales never gave up despite getting smashed for the second week running. I hope they get some first teamers back soon. As for us we did the job we needed to do.

Couple of defensive hits in the last ten minutes were immense. Especially on the stand side, the one on one on our own 20m. How they kept going in that heat and under that much pressure is amazing. The amount of pride in the jersey was definitely on display.

I think we should we should make it our golden away game and try and create a record gate for them, as someone said earlier the lads who played never gave up, and after all the bulls were once the team to create records
