Game went exactly as I thought it would. 5-10 mins of good play and even contest. 3rd placed SL side to just complete and score a load. I'm very pleased we hung on to the end and nabbed a try. The game will have done us some good. We've lost by the same amount before when we were in SL so the score doesn't bother me. We'll take a lot from this game and might do us a lot of good for next week. All I wanted out of this week was a bit of heart in the shirt!

Onwards and upwards to Doncaster. Now we have no distractions. Focus on the league haha!

54-6 is pretty much what I expected.

The score can run away quickly in RL as Huddersfield found out at Saints last night, and Leeds did against Castleford last season.

Hopefully, no injuries to report and onwards to next week.

We were saying in the pub last night that holding them to 50 would be a result. I still think that.
I didn't go but John keys probably was correct in saying the lads gave their all and after all, we are a third tier club.
I enjoyed listening to Micks enthusiasm and all of his "Gledhillisms" as he does struggle to get the correct words in the right order and gets things completely mixed up at times. The one where he said the kicker was on 3 from 2 was funny. I wonder if Mick is secretly the clubs publicity guy. Having said that he works his heart out for the game and the club so well done Mick for making the game interesting for those of us who couldn't go. Next time I can't go I will listen again with a smile on my face.

One small fact: you are going to die. Despite every effort, no one lives forever. Sorry to be such a spoiler. My advice is when the time comes, don't panic. It doesn't seem to help.

One of the nice things about today was Chris Hill coming to the Bulls end and applauding our fans after the final whistle. I thought it was a very nice gesture.

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

Statistically speaking you have a better chance of getting dead the older you get!

My last match before retiring abroad was to watch the Bulls play at Warrington on the 31st July 2011 the score was Wire 64 -Bulls 6 so a slight improvement then!

I enjoyed the match despite the score line as it wasn’t about that today for us. Wolves there always going to win but it was about the performance against a much better quality side.

Our lads gave it everything. Flanagan and Kirk were exhausted leaving the field which shows how much they had given. The fans gave it back and were louder than the wolves fans. Although being that far ahead they didn’t need to shout too much.

Onwards to Doncaster which is a very different test and we need to be at our best. We’ve enjoyed the free hit out and enjoyed the day but now it’s back to the serious stuff and aiming for promotion.

It was exactly what Bongser expected and, indeed, predicted on the Wire forum and the same margin on yours, PW - don't tell Bongser that you're starting to trust him!!

The result of the game was not important. Next week is a different matter and Donny seemed to turn up today, especially in the first half.

Glad everyone's a bit more upbeat this season. :thumb:
