As the weather appears to be doing it's best to prevent it at the moment

No snow has settled in Leeds City Centre as yet. Whether it has in Beeston or not, I'm not sure.

Frozen pitch is the issue rather than snow.

Good news. I am surprised given the forecast, and the need to play this game ASAP, they didn't rearrange the fixture for today or Friday.

I live in West Leeds, about three miles from Hunslet's ground, and its pretty bad weather conditions this morning

I'm not optimistic it will be on, but hope it will be as it's the shortest trip of the season for me

I have my doubts too. There's a couple of inch in Bramley.

I don't think the snow falling on the covers is a problem, unless they blow up in the wind and let the cold in, as at Odsal the week before. With the spectator area being under cover it should make it more likely to go ahead as there are no terraces to be dangerous. Or am I whistling in the dark?

Just been on the Hunslet website and there is no mention of even an inspection, so either it's pretty certain or they're also whistling in the dark..
