This coming Thursday evening (December 7th) from 5 onwards, I will be in Waterstones signing copies of three of my novels: One Winter (set in the 1960s), One Autumn (set in the 1990s) and Two Seasons (set in 2002 and 2003).
All cover such everyday items like work, Yorkshire/Lancashire industrial humour, family life and history, old friends, romance and Rugby League.
Among personalities and writers in our game who have told me they have enjoyed what they have read are Tony Collins, Stuart Duffy, Ray French, the late Ray Gent, Tony Hannan, Phillip Howard, Brian Noble, Mike Stevenson and Graham Williams along with critics from the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Huddersfield Examiner and the Wakefield Express and the Fifties/Sixties author Stan Barstow, who wrote the classic A Kind Of Loving.
Just in time for a Christmas present some might think.
Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' and 'Two Seasons'. All five feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
