As you might have read on another thread I'm trying to update the club's player stats by picking up where the last official club statistician left off in 1989. Bulls Boy 2011 has also been doing some work on Bulls player stats in the SL and latterly Championship eras.

I'll be putting up some of the more interesting stuff (well to me anyway) as I update it.

Here are the Keith Mumby stats for Bradford Northern. Always worth a look.

580 Appearances
8 as sub
84 Tries
779 Goals
1828 Points

(Includes both 3 and 4 point tries)

Always struck me as odd that in 20 seasons with us he never kicked a drop goal.

Here's a trivia question for you all. Which Bradford player who debuted in the 85/86 season made 265 full appearances (and 21 as sub) scoring 71 tries over 11 seasons but never had a testimonial?

I've looked it up in my (incomplete) records but I didn't really know so I won't spoil it. My records are missing a few years from the late eighties but it can only be one. Didn't realise he'd not had a benefit, though he did benefit in other ways, I suppose. Assuming he's the man, of course.

I have no stats to hand and I have no idea who had testimonials and who didn't, but the name that springs to mind is the one that temporarily had the 21 shirt retired in his honour. I'm quite probably totally wrong on that though.

Not Karl Fairbank but someone else who played in the same era for Northern.

Too young to remember the 80s but if he was still playing in 1996 I would have guessed Jon Hamer but just seen he had a testimonial.

Anothee clue. He went on the GB tour in 1990.

Somebody needs to update his wikipedia page, I had thought of him but on there he's listed as debuting in 89.
