Agree they might as well have said 'nowt'.

To be fair on one thing though, I don't think they can be so specific as to mention the amount they have available, if they actually have anything at all, that is. To say you have n£million available just risks putting the price up, but they could say that they have resources to bring (say) a couple of players in - and that tells us a reasonable amount.

In my opinion, he did not come across as if he ever did.To me, sounded more like a front man..there again...

With The two new signings, one of which includes a contract for next year, as well as Lee Smith's 3 year contract are we seeing the green shoots or recovery?
I though I would resurrect this thread as it looks like there may be something in the rumours..


With the quality of the two recent signing I would say there may be something to be optimistic about for the future!

I don't think we can base anything regarding our future just from player contracts.
We've seen countless times before that the contracts players sign aren't really worth much. They can be full of all sorts of clauses that make it impossible to tell one way or the other.

Only 5 days until that meeting anyway...

You know when Chalmers said they were dealing with the media releases? Link "Due to Jordan Lilley’s recall to parent club, Leeds Rhinos in for last night victory over Saint Helens last night". Is that even English?!?! This sort of stuff is what makes me disbelieve what Chalmers has said to the two guys from here. Clear that it's not being addressed properly when he said it was. Edit: Since the WuckFit in charge of the media articles seems to have read this and corrected it, can I also ask that he pays attention to the list of players that's missing two commas? Ta.

HC It is so good to see that you have come back from the cliff edge and chosen rehabilitation as your preferred option, but I do have to ask you to re-edit your edit.

Two commas are never used together in a list, the convention is that one comma separates list items. So it should read:

the list that has two items with a missing comma.

And you wouldn't think being better than you at grammar is all too diffiicult. (avoid double negatives is another tip, Kirkchops).

As it's after a full stop, the avoid in your brackets should have a capital A.
