He's an experienced FB who can cover the stand off position as well and now obviously a free agent. So he would fit the bill for our requirements, assuming he would be willing to fit in with our salary structure.

Though has he been commuting over to Leigh, in which case Leeds to Bradford might seem appealing?

He seems to be an ideal signing. He plays in a position that we need to strengthen. He's got a great deal of experience which we need given our relatively young squad and is free agent.

I'm guessing he'll go somewhere else

He was excellent for us last year. Needs to drop a few pounds but still a very good player

Reckon Smith will play a bit at centre. Our only natural centres are Oakes and Mendieka
