I'd be surprised if any new owner wanted to "engage" with a small unelected group of supporters, in any way that had any point.
I'm with you on this FA. I mean, it appears that any small group of supporters can now just set them up as a "supports group" and think they can be involved in running the club.
The Bradford Bulls Supporters Group... who are they? how do you join? what links do they officially have with teh club? are they just a group of friends who club together to sponsor a player (in which case we're as big a supports group as them?)
Bradford Bulls Banter Page - its a facebook site where people moan and gripe at each other.... I don't want that representing me as a fan.
The only logical one I have any affiliation or affinity to is Bullbuilder. This is a proper group, with a proper constitution, elected members and real interaction and links to the club. They in my opinion are the only ones who can do this.
But realistically, is it only me who doesn't want the fans to be involved in this? Its not a good idea at all and has proven to be a big failure at many clubs that have adopted the process. Infighting, cliques and supporter factions are all part an parcel of support led initiatives.
So my suggestion would be for all the other little splinter groups to join Bullbuilder and lets focus all our thoughts through that. Lets continue to raise the money to support the youth and future Bulls and leave the people with teh money to run the club.
