I'll be sharing a link to the questionnaire on here on Monday hopefully.

You can all give your two penneth. I will be. It might actually provide some useful info for the new owners. Who knows?

My impression was a lot of people were thinking aloud last night and felt the need to "do something". Nothing may come of it all.

Having been involved in supporters groups in the past I do wonder if they're worth the hassle. A club owner is never going to share everything with supporters, we have to take it on trust and hope they're not a cowboy. Twas ever thus.

Well I went. Simon Foster (Trevor's son) was there and he was keen to discuss how supporters might engage with any new regime. Various possibilities were discussed. Think a survey may be done to get opinions of supporters.

Survey will be shared in various places so everyone can contribute then results posted publicly.

Seems like there are various groups of fans from BullBuilder to a number of Facebook groups and us on here.

Survey would hope to capture views of all I think.

Simon was the catalyst for the meeting.

All a waste of time and effort until a new owner emerges and makes it clear they would be receptive to fans input in some form.

Most of the owners I've known have been receptive to fans views in some form or another. They all know they need to appear receptive at the very least - why antagonize your customers?

As we all know you never know if the owner is being 100% honest and nobody outside the board will ever really know the real facts in full.

Re: Supporters Meeting : Thu Dec 01, 2016 1:01 pm
It's easy for a company / owner to get fans' views nowadays with social media and the internet in general playing such a big part in life. If an owner wants fan opinion, he only has to ask on Twitter and he'll get hundreds of responses within a short space of time. Sure some of them will be trolling, but it's not hard to pick up on the serious ones fairly quickly.

I tend to agree that I'm not sure what this achieves right now, or even once the new owner is in place. That being said, I'm always open to keeping an eye on things that have any kind of potential to be a real help. I've been a Bullbuilder member since the early days and was a member of BISA previous to that. If I'd just seen BradfordBullsSG, Mick and some random fans were involved, I'd be ignoring this already. But when names like Simon Foster pop up, it makes you take something a little more seriously (and to a lesser extend yourself Bullseye, as it's obvious you don't waste time on pointless groups either). I'll keep an eye on this with interest, even though at the moment, I'm not sure what benefit it has (and I suspect maybe some of those involved aren't sure yet either).

Quite right Bullseye.

Every club needs to engage with fans, quite simply because if you lose the fans you're going the right way to very quickly lose the club. That doesn't mean that every group of a couple of dozen people need to be 'negotiated with' separately, or need to be given any kind of 'special status'. I think this group is given a bit of status with the name of Simon Foster being attached, but Simon isn't actually involved with the club on any kind of basis, and doesn't [to the best of my knowledge] even attend matches so what he brings - apart from the not inconsiderable value of the Foster family name - I don't really know. Knowing very well how fickle and how ready some fans are to jump around shouting the odds, I sincerely hope that he doesn't come to regret his involvement.

Hopefully, we'll get some real news before too long..

The phrase politically correct is in itself politcally incorrect so should be rephrased politically stupid!

If you like old type radio comedy/ dramas etc listen to //pumpkinfm.com/

Statistically speaking you have a better chance of getting dead the older you get!

Thank god only when you find a religion that passes the truth test!
