If you actually read what I said initially,i.e. Going bust being a blessing(because bulls will be stronger going forward)

This is all now coming to fruition,it's not mystic meg stuff it was my personal opinion based on lots of factors-one of them being pals with the guy they previously tried to sign up as the new CEO. He refused btw

Whilst there has been the odd post from people making vague claims to be, "in the know, wink wink", if I'm honest, I've only found only a few of these forward looking, inspirational prophecies, but far more in the way of ad hominem sniping between posters.

But then, that's just me being picky.

The question could to the topic could of course be what has anyone in charge of running the club both on and off the field over the last decade or so ever done for us except leave the club in a worse position at the end of each season.
Halifax, Salford, Wakefield, Featherstone to name but a few have all had financial issues in recent times but all have managed to avoid going into admin. Whereas we are now on Admin number 3.
We are now being fed strong hints that we are not only going to be rescued again but are going to have our long term future secured with large scale investment in the club and Odsal itself. If this is the case then where were these people after the Featherstone debacle when it became clear that the club was having serious cashflow problems ? I'm sure Mark Green would have welcomed this investment then. They would have had over 3 months to sort things out and prevented us from entering admin in the first place and the inevitable penalties that come with it.
I realise these things are never straight forward but if such consortiums exist then why do they wait for winding up orders to be issued and administration before getting involved ?

The main answer I think is that 3 months ago, investors would have to work with MG. Today, they have to work with the administrator.

That's true but if they have the funds that we"re being led to believe then i'm sure they could have made mr Green an offer he couldn't refuse and taken control thus avoiding another damaging admin.

Think that's a fair point.

I can well understand that people didn't want to put money into someone else's business but they've queered their own pitch somewhat by not buying earlier and avoiding the admin procedure. Maybe they just didn't know it was so bad, though the clues were certainly there.

Exactly. A points deduction and possible forfeit of central funding is going make it much harder for the new owners than if they"d been able to buy the club just a couple of months earlier.
