Probably down to the logisitics of who trained when.

Wouldn't that have been an issue right from the get go though? Surely this was sorted when the agreement was first announced.

Sounds fishy this - why announce the sharing of training facilities if the details had yet to be ironed out?

It seems that, maybe, the Bulls first saw the extra money which could have been gained by having this arrangement and only looked at the practicalities later.

Better to confront those problems now rather than sometime halfway through next season, methinks.

Was this announced before Rohan Smith?

If so, perhaps Jimmy saw it as no threat and even an opportunity and Smith sees it the other way?

Smith was on photo in article where they announced it so seemed ok with it then.

But wasn't that photo taken only a couple of days after he arrived. It's possible that he wasn't even party to all the details at that point.
