How the RFL can be 'promoting' the likes of Toronto and Toulouse after putting the boot into Gateshead and Sheffield is beyond me.

Not sure what boots were put in, but the reality is that Toulouse and especially Toronto have considerable pots of money to bring to the party. It may not be entirely the remains of Sheffield's fault, but the fact is that in recent years they have played in various totally unsuitable holes, before a tiny band of fans, and show no sign of being any more than making up the numbers, which really is a shame especially for the likes of Aston,but realistically, what could the RFL possibly do to make any real difference?
