Anyone tried the Australian Rum Bundaberg? I'm struggling to describe the taste because it's so odd. Nothing at all like Rum, and the nearest I can think to describe it is TCP. Very strange. Still I'm soldiering on like a brave boy and only have a third of a bottle to go.

That chap appears to be drinking Bundaberg Red which is filtered through Red Gum (I think that's another name for Eucalyptus). Considering how medicinal the standard bottle tastes, I can only imagine the red variety is even more unusual.

That reminds me of my favourite soft drink called Kinnie from Malta which is also bitter. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinnie I like bitter drinks generally. I love Campari.

Tasting of 'TCP' was often a description applied to some of the Islay malts, particularly from the south side and more particularly Laphraoig and Lagavulin. Not sure I've ever wanted to spit out either to be honest...
