Looking at the, rather too close up, picture on the Eagles website, along with the 3K limit, it looks to me it's a bit like Hunslet with just the one stand and no real terracing. Which a quick look on Google Earth confirms......in fact on Google [mapping this year], it looks totally undeveloped so I'd assume it'll be a bit more advanced before the season starts. All speccies must be nice and dry in the stand by the look of it.

To be fair, the website does say that " plans" are well advanced rather than the work is going on......

Didn't Wakefield 'have plans' to develop Belle Vue, when they were promoted into SL?

Also, my lot had 'plans' to be in SL by now, and we all know how that went!

That's not a stadium, its a pitch with a fancy pavilion alongside it

There's no comparison with Hunslet's ground. The South Leeds stadium has a 2300 seat grandstand, the Hallam sports ground has a pavilion with a balcony



Unless they get some temporary grandstands in there sharpish, there'll be nowhere to sit and no cover!

Not seen it from pitchside before - from the other side it looks like a stand!

Guess there's still plenty to do then.
