"An evening in Bailiff Bridge" with "The Good Yorkshireman" : Mon Nov 23, 2015 11:59 pm
"An evening in Bailiff Bridge" and "The Good Yorkshireman" are the titles of two chapters in my latest novel "Two Seasons". Others include "Listening to Eddie and Stevo", "The Sermon on the Mount Pleasant", "A Day Out In Wigan", "Minnie Cotton and her Umbrella" "A day on the M62", "A Swedish Affair" and "E-mails from Amsterdam".
The novel has a background of "Work, Family, Old Friends and Rugby League" during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. For anyone wanting a signed copy, I will be in Waterstones this Saturday (November 28th) from 10 a.m. onwards with copies of Two Seasons" and also two of my earlier novels "One Winter" and "One Autumn". Among other Rugby League people who have enjoyed the book are the sadly departed Ray Gent, Ray French and the Rugby League historian Professor Tony Collins. The books are also available from the publisher London League Publications who published the biography of Trevor Foster and "Come On Northern" by Trevor Delaney.
