Got to say that he was starting to win me over with his last couple of performances (Leigh and Wakefield in particular).
Seemed happy to get stuck in and put his body on line which I always like to see in a half back but perhaps didn't have the quality to steer the team around the park as we needed.
He was always on a hiding to nothing when he had to directly replace GOB when he was "let off" of his contractual responsibilities to the club... one of those other great decisions made by Le General!!!
FWIW I'm not that impressed with the thought of Godinet either. We need someone to lead, not pull something out of his sleeve!!!
