But then, claiming that England managed to beat a side that got completely mullered in the final of the WC does not seem quite so good now does it?

I don't really care for rankings TBH. If we were to believe them then we would actually believe that Wales were the 8th best football team on the planet. Which they are clearly not.

I'm not "trying to tell you" this. It is a fact which clearly proves itself. You don't win a Test series against the No.1 ranked nation by accident. And it is not a one-off, the gradual improvement of the national team under McNamara has been plain to see. If you are inclined to look.

Heheh! We'd have seen for how much it counted in your head if we had lost 3-nil! McNamara has been in the job for some time, of course, and we are indeed now looking at the current state of progress of the long term effect of his time in charge. That's what annoys you, you need to belittle and rubbish everything he did, does, or ever will, but as time wears on, he keeps peeing on your bonfire.

A Test series win against the World No. 1 ranked team is a big deal. You must be seething inside that your dismal attempts to spin it differently are pointless and embarrassing. Credit to you for persistence, but there is a time to stop digging.

TBF, as much as you will argue, it really is not a big deal that you won a test series. Only three nations actually play the game to any level FFS!

And it was at home.

I will say it again. To try and convince the Bradford Bulls supporters that McNamara is a quality coach is patronising and smacks of arrogance.
